The IUD Removal Hook is a double ended instrument that is used to loop around the IUD coil and pull it through the vagin@ to the outset. The instrument has an overall length of 31 cm with a large and small hook on either side to suit surgical needs. The surgeon inserts the IUD Removal Hook through the vagin@ under appropriate anesthesia and through a pre-dilated cervix to grasp the hanging thread of the IUD which he then pulls out.
